Online Bereavement Counselling from Surrey

Inner Action Counselling

Online bereavement counselling from Surrey, collaborating on inner work to support meaningful life changes.

Welcome to Inner Action Counselling, offering online bereavement counselling from Surrey. A safe, reflective space to reclaim and move forward.

Therapy, including bereavement counselling, often begins with a feeling. Something heavy. A quiet sense something isn’t right. You might not have the words yet. You don’t need to. I don’t believe in forcing change. Our work grows through steady connection. We follow your pace. Your choices guide the direction. I primarily work with individuals facing emotional pain, grief, trauma, and the redefining of identity, and I also support those in partnerships where illness, disability, or caregiving have led to additional complexity or transition.

Grief is at the heart of my work. Through online bereavement counselling from Surrey, I support people facing the many shapes of loss, whether you’re mourning someone who shaped your life, even in complex or painful ways, or grappling with the loss of identity, trust or direction, I offer a grounded, compassionate space to explore what this loss means for you. That might include the grief that comes with chronic illness, sight loss, disability, medical trauma, or changes in close relationships. We can make space for what feels tangled or hard to name.

Therapy. A Scary Word? Maybe you’ve been through things you rarely, or never, talk about. The idea of sharing them may feel overwhelming, even in bereavement counselling. But what if you had a space where it’s safe to simply be? No pressure. No judgment. Just room to breathe, feel and begin to make sense of things. Whether you're coming on your own or exploring how health, trauma or identity have reshaped connection with others, you're welcome here.

Hi, I'm Sandra Mazili.

I'm a blind integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, (NCPS). I work with adults facing emotional pain, whether from recent events or long-buried experiences. I specialise in bereavement and grief counselling from Surrey, supporting people through the death of someone significant (human or animal), or the quieter, often hidden losses of identity, confidence or connection linked to anxiety, depression or trauma.

Many clients I work with are navigating complex life realities, including disability, chronic illness, sight loss, caregiving roles, and the impact of being left out or underserved by systems meant to support them.

As a blind therapist, I understand how these experiences can shape, and sometimes complicate , our sense of safety, identity and belonging. I strive to hold space where these realities feel validated and the work remains collaborative.

Whatever the cause, I offer a respectful, grounding space to explore your experience and begin regaining a sense of clarity, choice and connection.

Accessible, Flexible Support

I provide online bereavement counselling from Surrey through secure video sessions, offering flexible access to therapy wherever you are in the UK. Many people find this brings comfort and ease, allowing them to speak openly in familiar surroundings, although I also understand home isn’t always a safe or private space and we can explore ways to work around that together.

How I Work

My approach is grounded in the person-centred philosophy, meaning you are at the heart of our work. I believe the capacity for change and understanding lives within you and my role is to walk alongside you as we uncover it.

When appropriate, I also draw from CBT, psychodynamic ideas and creative techniques, all integrated within my Surrey-based online bereavement counselling to suit your needs and pace.

How We Could Work Together

In partnership, we’ll work toward understanding, integration and steady personal growth, helping you step out of the grip of intrusive thoughts, troubling physical symptoms or stuck patterns, and into a life shaped by choice, not reaction.

My Experience

My experience draws from over a decade of mental-health support, and it informs every aspect of my bereavement counselling from Surrey practice.

What to Expect from the First counselling Session

Our first session, whether online or by phone, is a chance to see how it feels to work together. You can ask questions, talk as much or as little as you like and get a sense of how online bereavement counselling from Surrey might support you. Some people arrive with clear goals while others are still figuring things out. Both are absolutely fine. I offer short-term, long-term and open-ended therapy depending on what you’d like to explore and how complex it feels. This can be discussed during our initial consultation and reviewed as the work progresses. For longer-term work, (over 6–10 weeks), we’ll set aside part of a session each month to reflect on progress, our working relationship and any feedback on how I’m supporting you.

Is something inside you looking for support with mental health?
