Stress Awareness Week: Think You’re Just Tired? Stress Might Be Calling the Shots.

Stress. A silent companion? An unwanted guest? Whatever we want to call it, stress can often be a quiet presence, pulling at your energy, leaving you tense and distant from your inner calm. The truth is, stress can creep up on us. It could begin as a faint sense of agitation or a constant low-level worry, then slowly build into something that feels harder to manage. For some, it shows up as physical tension, disturbed sleep, or a racing mind. For others, it can reach the point where the body says “enough,” affecting health, concentration, or resilience to everyday illnesses and bugs.

This week, as we mark International Stress Awareness Week, it’s an invitation to pause and notice what’s really happening inside us. The signs of stress aren’t signs of weakness, they’re signals from your system asking for care and attention.
